Editor’s Note on Pricing
Editorial work varies depending on the structure, complexity, and stage of a manuscript or screenplay. For that reason, I don’t use a fixed pricing model. Instead, each project is considered individually so the scope of work reflects what the material actually needs. I’m happy to provide general ranges during an initial conversation, with a precise quote following a review of the work. This ensures that the editorial process is clearly defined from the start, and that the feedback you receive is focused, cohesive, and genuinely useful.
The goal is not to provide more feedback, but to provide clarity so the work can fully come together.

An initial diagnostic review of a manuscript, screenplay, treatment, or selected portion of a work (typically 15–25 pages). This evaluation identifies structural strengths, areas for development, narrative clarity, and overall direction before deeper revision begins.
You will receive:

Manuscripts
I work with narrative-driven manuscripts where structure, voice, and thematic cohesion are essential to the work itself. My approach is developmental and collaborative, focused on strengthening narrative clarity, emotional structure, pacing, and overall coherence while preserving the integrity of the author’s voice.
Developmental Editing
A full-manuscript review focused on structure, coherence, and overall narrative integrity. Attention is given to narrative architecture, emotional structure, scene function and progression, character development, thematic cohesion, and clarity. You will receive:
A comprehensive developmental editorial report
An annotated manuscript with detailed commentary
This represents a complete developmental editorial phase, followed by independent revision.
Typical developmental editing range: $0.025 – $0.04/word depending on manuscript condition, complexity, and level of development.
Revision Services
Available following a developmental edit or as part of an ongoing editorial engagement. May include:
Review of revised material
Targeted structural or narrative feedback
Clarification and expansion of prior editorial guidance
Revision work is scoped individually based on the level of review required.
Comprehensive Editorial Service
A multi-stage editorial process guiding a manuscript from structural development through final refinement. Includes:
